Startup Kashmir hosts Meet-Up for Female Entrepreneurs in Srinagar

Startup Kashmir held a unique meetup for women entrepreneurs at Kong Posh restaurant in Srinagar, celebrating female entrepreneurship. The event was hosted by Deeba Ali, representing Startup Kashmir.
The event featured Rifat Mushtaq, a renowned entrepreneur and owner of Rifat Printing Press, along with other successful entrepreneurs, phenomenal business owners, and emerging talents were present to commemorate the event. Rifat appeared as the guest speaker who shared her experiences and challenges of her journey from matchbox and polythene production to establishing a successful cardboard manufacturing venture. Additionally, Shahid Mir, CEO of Greenovator Incubation Foundation (GIF), discussed the various schemes offered to entrepreneurs. Seerat Zahra, the owner of Glitz and Glam, emphasized the importance of shared learning and growth and encouraged open communication and collaboration. Batool Aijaz, the owner of Jazba Foods, praised Startup Kashmir for providing a supportive network for women to flourish. Jahan Araa, Nava Shah, and Saba Bhat acknowledged the event for aspiring businesswomen, emphasizing practical wisdom, honesty, dedication, and the power of meetups in fostering empathy and understanding among entrepreneurs.
The event highlighted the resilience and ingenuity of women entrepreneurs in Kashmir, and a workshop called "Women For Startups" is planned to be organized in Jammu & Kashmir that aims to empower women entrepreneurs in the Union Territory.
