The match occurred at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium where South Africa Women (SA-W) scored 166/5 in 20 overs, the highest total during the tournament. The team restricted Scotland Women (SCO-W) for 86 runs taking all wickets in 17.5 overs.
South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. They made a fast start scoring 60 runs without losing any wickets during the powerplay.
