In order to empower children with special needs and their families, the Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani laid stress on the Anganwadi protocol and gender-inclusive communication guide for Divyang children.

She stated during the Global Diversity Equity Inclusion Summit that this protocol will direct the District administrations in addressing the unique needs of education and nutrition and that it will furnish 'Swavlamban' cards to enable these children to take charge of their own lives and future aspirations.

In addition to this, the Women and Child Development Minister also emphasized the government's commitment to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, particularly with regard to women, children, and minority communities along with the necessity of promoting gender-inclusive languages.

Niru Kumar, Founder and CEO of Ask Insights and also a Padma Shri awardee stated during the event that "As humanity progresses in its journey to authentically embrace the diversity of gender and ability, there will be resistances, anxieties and insecurities both in the marginalized communities and the privileged people."

Explaining the summit theme of "Harmony", Niru Kumar encouraged those who are in charge of the organization and the government to never stop urging the citizens to bring people together despite their differences which will lead to incredible growth where each person will prosper.
