Seven Indian-American women made it onto Forbes' "50 over 50" list of 200 business owners, investors, inventors, and performers, proving once again that age has nothing to do with success.
The remaining six women are mentioned in the coveted list's "Entrepreneurs" area, with the exception of Manjusha Kulkarni, co-founder of Stop AAPI Hate, who is listed in the "Impact" part.
The most comprehensive database of hate crimes against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders related to Covid-19 is Kulkari's Stop AAPI Hate in the United States.
Additionally, she serves as the Executive Director of the Asian American Partnership Equity Alliance, a group of neighborhood-based organisations that fights for the interests and rights of the Asian American community in Southern California.
Kulkarni was honoured as a White House Champions of Change in 2014 for her commitment to enhancing South Asian Americans' access to healthcare.
