Senior Women' & Junior Selection Committees appoint Shyama Dey Shaw & V.S. Thilak Naidu

Shyama Dey Shaw & V.S. Thilak Naidu have been appointed to fill the vacant selector position in the Senior Women's Selection Committee and Junior Cricket Committee, respectively, announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday.
The BCCI said in a statement that after advertising for the positions in each committee in January of this year, its Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), made up of Sulakshana Naik, Ashok Malhotra, and Jatin Paranjape has seen the applications and unanimously recommended Shyama and V.S. Thilak for the positions.
Shyama played for India in three Test matches and five One-Day Internationals as a left-handed batter and medium-pace bowler. From 1985 to 1997, she played domestic cricket for Bengal, and from 1998 to 2002, she played for Railways.
Whereas V.S. Thilak Naidu will take over as the Junior Cricket Committee chairperson.
