Savitri Jindal's wealth increased by $12 billion in just two years despite the fact that she never attended college and just took over her husband's company after his untimely death. In fact, in the past two years, her net worth has increased more than three times, from $4.8 billion in 2022 to $17.7 billion in 2022. This was following a 50% decline in 2019 and 2020. Her net worth decreased from $8.8 billion in 2018 to $5.9 billion in 2019 and then to $4.8 billion in 2020.
And when her net worth reached $18 billion in 2021, the woman—who had previously claimed that women in the Jindal family continue to run the home while males handle everything outside—entered 10 top clubs. According to Forbes, she has been regarded as the richest Indian lady for a while. She is followed on the list of the richest women in India by Kiran Mazumdar and Crishna Godrej.
She increased from 349 to 126 in the global billionaires list between 2020 and 2022.
When Om Prakash Jindal, the creator of the Jindal Group, died in a helicopter accident in 2005, Savitri Jindal was 55 years old. After that, she took over the company and got involved in politics.
At a point in her life when most individuals are planning to retire, she became a billionaire.
With the support of her late husband OP Jindal's success slogan, "Where others saw barriers, he saw doors," Savitri Jindal is advancing the Jindal Group and even assisting the average person in any way she can.
She was born on March 20, 1950, and spent her formative years in Tinsukia, Assam. In 1970, she married OP Jindal. Together, they are parents to 9 kids.
OP Jindal, the creator of the steel and power behemoth Jindal Group, served as a minister in the Haryana government and a representative for the Hisar constituency in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
