Sita Gayatri Annadanam, the general secretary of Rashtra Sevika Samiti, stated on Thursday that mothers should teach their sons values and respect for women in order to ensure the safety of women in society. While addressing an event, Sita emphasized the importance of empowering women to recognize their inherent strength and also claimed that Indian mindsets hold the solution to every issue that women face globally. Mothers will uphold the responsibility for the safety of women perfectly.
She further added that women should also follow the Indian mindsets on women to realize that their strength, potential, and efficiency can ensure that their children grow as nationalists and patriots.
RSS Joint Secretary Krishna Gopal stated in his remarks that although women have always held a special place in India and have never experienced discrimination in the past 1,000 years, some changes are visible.
In addition to this, he also mentioned the history of Indian women that there was no purdah system as it is not mentioned anywhere in the Vedas or scriptures. There were no customs of child marriage women were provided education and as many as 26 hymns in Veda have been written by women.
However, things are now shifting to their original track and the Indian mindsets need to change for better progress, the RSS leader said.
