Renowned Poetess Anila Singh Charak Awarded with Amrita Pritam Samman in Nepal

Anila Singh Charak, an eminent poetess, Vyangyakar, Ghazalkar, painter, artist, and cricketer, was awarded the Amrita Pritam Samman in Nepal, where she represented India in a three-day Sahitya Mahotsav aimed at strengthening connections between Nepal and India and exchanging art and literary culture.

The occasion was attended by writers from all over India on the first day, which was followed by Mushaira, in which many writers from Nepal and India took part, and Anila delighted the audience with her Ghazal.

Vice Chancellor Lalit Kala University, K.K Karmacharya, published Anila Singh Charak's book 'Mask Ke Peeche Kya Hai' (a collection of witty prose pieces) on this occasion.

On the second day, a panel discussion on the theme of 'Women's Empowerment' was held, during which Anila Singh expressed her views, saying that women should use their power in a positive way for the betterment of society and country. Her ideas were well received by the crowd.
