In the Her Circle Bizruptors Awards 2024 held at Reliance Corporate Park which was awaited, the event was aimed at honoring the successful women entrepreneurs and their achievements in various fields. Launched by Mrs. Nita Mukesh Ambani, Her Circle showcases women who are successful entrepreneurs and leaders who are bringing positive change in the business world across India. The event featured two sets of awards: The first one is for icons who have achieved lot in their field, and the second one for Bizruptors, the new age entrepreneurs to be sourced through a hunt conducted across the country through a combination of public vote and jury.
The women icons feted during the event have crossed many barriers, broken records and achieved what was once considered impossible thereby empowering a new generation to transform social challenges into opportunities. These icons include:
1. Zainab Patel – founder of The Trans Cafe, and the TransFormation Salon.
2. Dr. Jaishree Sharad, a Dermatologist and Director of Skinfinitii.
3. Schauna Chauhan is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Parle Agro Pvt Ltd.
4. Anshuka Parwani is the founder of Anshuka Yoga.
5. Vaishali Shandangule is the Designer and Founder of Vaishali S
6. Preeti Jhangiani is a wonderful actress and she is also the co-founder of Swen Entertainment.
7. Deanne Panday, a Health Coach, Author and a Wellness Expert.
8. Brinda Miller, Hon. Festival Director of Kala Ghoda Arts Festival and Chairperson of Kala Ghoda Association
9. Lavanya Nalli is the Vice Chairperson of Nalli Group of Companies
10. Rashi Narang, Founder, Heads Up For Tails.
The Bizruptor awards category is the most distinguished as the winners were chosen by the independent jury which included personalities like the famous fashion designer Anita Dongre, the prominent venture capitalist Tarana Lalwani, the famous entrepreneur and venture capitalist Ankita Vashistha and the successful CEO of Her Circle.Tanya Chaitanya. This first edition profiled more than seven women who have revolutionized their business and lives through innovation and perseverance. From an initial pool of 1,027 entrepreneurs nationwide, the following were honored:

According to Tanya Chaitanya the CEO of Her Circle, who spoke about the awards, “Bizruptors by Her Circle” is more than a contest to find female entrepreneurs across India with grit and disruptive abilities. It is an effort to identify the creative, inclusive and sustainable companies that may save our planet. The general conclusion of “Bizruptors by Her Circle” Grand Finale is dedicated to those winners who initiated and managed their startups in a highly competitive entrepreneurial environment. But no ordinary startup- it must have a purpose. We also give kudos to icons in another category veterans in their respective fields who are change agents right from the front-end. The objective of Her Circle Bizruptors 2024 is an energetic, electrifying women’s rights based on these considerations.
As she narrated her journey, Schauna Chauhan, CEO of Parle Agro Pvt Ltd, compared life’s challenges to video games and expressed the philosophy that her father instilled in her about persistence leading to success. In a well-established brand like Nalli Group of Companies, innovation is hard as Lavanya Nalli puts it; however, there is hope for change if the new generation can embrace it. Anshuka Parwani, Founder of Anshuka Yoga stressed the significance of health over fast money making stating how yoga has transformed her life from a fatal accident.
Beyond celebrating such outstanding female accomplishments, The Her Circle Bizruptors Awards 2024 also brought forth different social-cultural-structural obstacles they had to surmount. Since women entrepreneurs account for only one-third of global entrepreneurs across all sectors therefore events such these are critical in acknowledging and endorsing their endeavors. The awards ceremony concluded with a powerful message of empowerment and innovation which marked the beginning of another stride in India’s women entrepreneurship story.
