Rekha M. Menon, Senior Managing Director and Chairperson, retiring from Accenture India

Accenture, the leading worldwide professional services company, has hired new management for India. As Rekha M. Menon, leaves the company after 20 years with the company, Ajay Vij has been named the country managing director, and Sandeep Dutta will take over as the head of Accenture's India Market Unit.

Rekha joined the exclusive club of seven-time MPW award winners known as BT's Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame in 2021. During her tenure at Accenture, Rekha held a variety of positions in the company's growth regions and actively contributed to the growth of the business' operations, local presence, and partnerships with key stakeholders like industry, the government, and clients. She encouraged the company's dedication to diversity and inclusion and assisted in establishing corporate citizenship in India. The newly appointed people will now undertake the majority of the Chairperson's responsibilities.

In his new position as Country Managing Director, Ajay Vij will be responsible for expanding his current responsibilities as the Corporate Services & Sustainability lead for India in order to provide overall leadership and encourage coordinated decision-making for significant corporate projects. Sandeep Dutta, the head of India Sales, will now be in charge of managing Accenture's India Market Unit as the division's India business leader. He will be responsible for directing business and operations in the domestic market with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, market differentiation, and growth. Dutta's duties in this position have been increased to now include working with local business organisations and speaking on behalf of Accenture in regional trade associations.
