The 10th International Women's Conference, hosted by the Art of Living International Centre in Bengaluru, will feature over 60 speakers and 500 delegates, discussing leadership, self-discovery, and empowerment. The event will also feature cultural showcases like an International Food Festival and a musical performance called Sita Charitam.
The Conference is scheduled to be organized from February 14-16, 2025, which will be graced by President Droupadi Murmu along with influential women from politics, business, arts, and social impact.
The International Women's Conference, organized over two decades, has brought together 463 distinguished speakers and 6,000 delegates from 11 countries. This year's lineup includes Indian President Droupadi Murmu, Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot, Union Minister Annpurna Devi, Member of Parliament Shobha Karandlaje, former Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India, Meenakshi Lekhi, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland, Wife of former PM of Japan, Akie Abe, Legendary Actresses Hema Malini and Sharmila Tagore, Bollywood Icons Sara Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha along with Business Tycoons Radhika Gupta and Kanika Tekriwal.
Bhanumathi Narasimhan, the sister of Gurudev Shri Shri Ravi Shankar, chairs the IWC with the aim of creating a stress-free, violence-free world through education, environmental sustainability, and women's empowerment. The conference theme of discussion is based on Gurudev's poem 'Just Be,' focusing on leadership and empowerment.
The IWC will also feature a special segment, "Stylish InsideOut: Fashion for a Cause," featuring Indian designers auctioning their designs to support the Art of Living Free Schools. The event aims to promote gender equality and education, with proceeds going towards the students of 1,300+ schools. The conference also bridges urban and rural women, fostering connection and empowerment.
