President Draupadi Murmu to visit Madhya Pradesh

Today, President Draupadi Murmu will travel to Madhya Pradesh for a day long visit. She will be the chief guest at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management's fourth convocation ceremony in Gwalior. In addition to this, President Murmu will take part in several other events as well.
She reached Gwalior by 11:30 a.m. and her first places to visit will be Maharaja Sir Jiwajirao Scindia Museum and Jai Vilas Palace.
After visiting the galleries, President Draupadi Murmu will lay the cornerstone for the Boys Hostel at the Institute of Information Technology and Management.
Dr. Anil Kakodkar, a former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, will receive an honorary doctor of science degree from the President during the convocation. In addition to this, 7 students will receive gold medals, and 283 students will receive degrees. At the convocation ceremony, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also mark his presence along with Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Jyotiraditya Scindia.
