On February 10, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi will give a speech at a large-scale women's convention in the state capital. This will be his second visit to Odisha in a row. One of the two major events that the BJP Mahila Morcha will host before the general election, which is anticipated to take place in April or May, is the women's convention. An estimated 25,000 women from 14 states are anticipated to attend the event. On Saturday, the PM launched the BJP's election campaign from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh.
State BJP president Manmohan Samal provided information regarding the prime minister's February trip to Odisha. He stated that the Mahila Samabesa in Bhubaneswar has a tentative program scheduled for February 10 and that the prime minister has given permission to attend. As soon as the party receives confirmation from New Delhi, details on the anticipated convention and the Prime Minister's tour will be released. Before going to the convention, the prime minister is probably going to Puri to worship to Lord Jagannath, according to party insiders.
The Prime Minister will make a second trip to a coastal region after inaugurating the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) new campus in Sambalpur on February 3, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated. The BJP plans to hold two massive Mahila Samavesh rallies across India, addressing Prime Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and party president JP Nadda, with at least 14 rallies scheduled.
The decision was made during a meeting with state in-charges in New Delhi, following a review by BJP general secretary BL Santosh.
