Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka emphasizes Women's Empowerment in Telangana

Panchayat Raj Minister, Seethakka emphasized the importance of women's empowerment in Telangana's progress. The Panchayat Raj Minister reviewed a state-level action plan for Women's Empowerment with District DRDO & Additional DRDO at Telangana Rural Development Corporation in Rajendranagar, emphasizing the importance of a business model that suits the field realities and resource availability.
Seethakka, also known as Dhanasari Anasuya, is a prominent advocate for women's empowerment in Telangana, emphasizing the importance of women's development for state progress. She proposes business models like Aadhaar centers, Mee-Seva centers, poultry farms, Mahila Shakti canteens, and start-ups to empower women and ensure quality and safety in food consumption. She discussed the implementation of the Mahila Shakti programme to strengthen women's self-help groups and emphasized the need for women's associations in demand-based businesses. She stressed the need for locally available resources to achieve miracles.
Minister Seethakka also ordered officials to ensure the cleanliness and good taste of food served at Mahila Shakti canteens, suggesting they be placed in tourist centers, government offices, and busy areas. The Minister along with officials and women groups called for a war against adulterated goods and further congratulated DRDOs for providing timely school uniforms to the students.
