Online Gaming Platform Zupee announces Paid Period Leave for Female Employees

Zupee is a leading online gaming platform based on skills that introduced paid period leaves for its female workers, announced by the firm on Monday.
The company will provide one day of leave every month, either working from home or in the workplace. In accordance to make the workplace a welcoming environment for females by addressing their monthly menstrual cycle pain, this organization is making such new policies.
Surabhi Sanchita, Vice President of Human Resources at Zupee mentioned that by implementing this policy, they are acknowledging and protecting the health of its female employees and also avoiding menstrual stigmatization.
The policy will be implemented from 1 April, according to the firm it will be the first skill-based online gaming platform to implement a period leave policy.
Apart from Zupee, online food delivery firms like Swiggy and Zomato along with edutech company Byju also provide paid period leaves for their female workers.
