Bhubaneswar played host to the first-ever Janjatiya Khel Mahotsav, a grand sporting extravaganza jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Odisha Government, and KIIT University. The Janjatiya Khel Mahotsav witnessed an impressive turnout of 5,000 tribal athletes and 1,000 officials from 26 states, demonstrating the nationwide participation and enthusiasm surrounding the event.
