Nagaland SP Pritpal Kaur named '2024 IACP 40 Under 40' by IACP

Pritpal Kaur, the Superintendent of Police in Nagaland's Phek district, has been named the '2024 IACP 40 Under 40' by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). She is a dedicated personel towards law enforcement and community service. The Nagaland SP has been focusing on improving safety and justice for women and children through combating crimes like domestic violence, human traffiking, sexual abuse, etc. She also promotes community outreach to prevent crime and foster social harmony in the society.

Pritpal Kaur is a Goldmedalist Dentist and an IPS officer who has been serving as Superintendent of Police in Phek, Nagaland. Pritpal has been recognized for her leadership and community service, particularly in border areas. She has initiated innovative projects like "Fighting Drugs with Education and Livelihood" and "Not Guns but Machines," focusing on education and vocational training to combat drug addiction.

The Indian Association of Chief Police Officers (IACP) has invited 29-year-old Pritpal Kaur who hails from Haryana to receive the prestigious award at the 2024 IACP Annual Conference and Exposition in Boston. The award recognizes top-rising leaders in law enforcement has honored Pritpal's dedication to education, conflict resolution, and community service. Pritpal has a passion for policing that started in childhood, she has also been helping to resolve conflicts and strengthen communities across India. She has also served as the first SP for a border district, preventing border clashes and assisting in anti-drug efforts.

She has received several awards, including the International Inspiration Women Award 2023, Skoch Gold Award 2023, DGP Disc Award, Women Power India Award 2023, and Global Women Leader Award 2024 by the World Women Leadership Congress 2024.
