The Mt Sudarshan is located on the Garhwal-Himalayas in the northern state of Uttarakhand which has been scaled by a Pune-based all-women mountaineer team and Giripemi adventure club.

The Garhwal Himalayas' Mount Sudarshan, which is in the Gangotri region, is a really difficult peak to climb on because of its constant rockfalls, avalanches, and extremely bad weather. Sudarshan Mountain stands at a height of 6,592 meters and its prominence is 456 meters. In August, the P Cube Mt Sudarshan Expedition 2023 was started in Pune.

On September 6 at 12:45 p.m., expedition command Smita Kariwadekar raised the Maharashtra flag and the Indian tricolor at Sudarshan's Summit. This incredible accomplishment has been done for the first time in India by the Giripremi Women's Team.

Along with Padmaja Dhanvi, Sneha Talwatkar, Purva Shinde, and Sneha Gude, other mission participants also ascended to heights of up to 6,200 meters.

To ensure the safety of the team in worsening weather conditions, they opted to descend a few meters short of the Summit. At Camp 1, Seema Pai, another team member climbed a height of 5500 meters. Many delegates and other members, mountaineers, and instructors, have contributed significantly to the accomplishment of this mission by offering support, direction, and resources.

Strategies like Tyrolean traverses across rivers, and Base Camp were established while ensuring the team's safety throughout the expedition. There are a lot of difficult climbs and crevasses Along the summit route. The team was well prepared and reached the Base Camp situated at Shvetvarn glacier at a height of about 4,200 meters, beyond Gomukh. Then they established Camp 1, Camp 2, and Advance Base Camp before starting the difficult summit.

Colonel Anshuman Bhadoria and Major Dr. Deval Vajpayee led the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarkashi greatly helped the expedition's success.
