Meenakashi Lekhi Speaks with Chilean Business delegation about Women Empowerment & Investment Opportunities

Meenakashi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs, met with the Chilean business group and discussed bilateral collaboration and investment potential during her eight-day visit to South America.
Taking to Twitter, the Minister of State stated, "Delighted to interact with Chilean business delegation. Thank Mr Richard Von Appen, President of SOFOFA, (Federation of Chilean Industry) for organising the meeting. Discussed our growing bilateral cooperation in trade & commerce, investment opportunities for Chile companies and advantage of doing business with India."
The Minister also paid a visit to Chile's Parliament and engaged in a parliamentary session. The MoS also had fruitful discussions with Raul Soto Diputado, the Speaker of the Chilean President of the Chamber of Deputies (Lower House in Chile Parliament). Both sides discussed the two countries' strengthening partnerships.
She posted a tweet, "Visited the beautiful Parliament of Chile and witnessed a session of the Chilean parliament. Had a productive meeting with the Speaker of the Chilean President of the Chamber of Deputies Raul Soto Diputado. Discussed our growing bilateral relations & parliamentary cooperation between India & Chile."
She also met with Member of Parliament Ciccardini, the President of the India-Chile Parliamentary Friendship Group. They discussed topics such as women's empowerment and child care.
Since April 28, Lekhi has been on an official tour to Panama, Honduras, and Chile, which is set to end on May 5. Her visit to these nations is her first. In September of last year, she visited Colombia for the first time.
