Marriott India & HIF's Project Buniyaad offers Training Program for Women

Marriott India has partnered with Honda India Foundation's (HIF) Project Buniyaad to enhance community development and skill enhancement in underserved areas partnering with Skill India initiatives, aiming to empower women for sustainable livelihoods across India. It offers unemployed youth a three-month training program from the Visan Foundation, followed by certification from the Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC).
Project Buniyaad - Athmanirbharta Ka Aadhar, launched by Honda India Foundation, provides vocational training, educational support, and infrastructure development in underserved communities of the northeast region of India & Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. It empowers individuals with skills for sustainable livelihoods, contributing to socio-economic development. Marriott India, renowned for hospitality, is aligning with this initiative.
The initiative focuses on vocational training in areas like hospitality, automotive skills, and computer literacy, as well as supporting schools and educational institutions through infrastructure improvements and scholarships. It further aims to empower women and youth, creating opportunities for economic independence and personal growth. The partnership aligns with Marriott India's corporate social responsibility (CSR) and aims to create long-term benefits for individuals and communities.
