
Lohiya Foundation Launches Initiative to Promote Girls Education in Secunderabad

The Kanhaiyalal Shantadevi Lohiya Foundation, the charitable wing of Lohiya Group, has inaugurated a new school block aimed at promoting girls' education. The newly built block at Medchal ZPHS Girls School includes eight state-of-the-art classrooms with digital learning tools. This facility will provide over 600 girls from disadvantaged backgrounds with access to enhanced educational resources, marking a significant stride in overcoming barriers to their academic success.
"Educating girls is not only the right thing to do, but it is also essential for building a more inclusive and prosperous future," said Kanhaiyalal Lohiya, philanthropist and Chair of the KSL Foundation. Co-Chair Shantadevi Lohiya reinforced this, stating, "Investing in the education of young women is an investment in a stronger, more resilient society."
Mitesh Lohiya, Director of Sales and Marketing at Gold Drop, emphasized that educating a girl uplifts an entire community. He noted that the initiative reflects their corporate ethos of fostering positive change and will impact the Medchal community and beyond.
