LIBF Expo 2024 focuses on Developing Rural Indian Women Entrepreneurs

With its grand opening at Gandhinagar, Gujarat's Helipad Exhibition Centre, LIBF Expo 2024 brings together influential scholars, business owners, and world leaders while providing a unique setting for networking, teamwork, and innovation display. The expo attracted professionals and enthusiasts from 34 different sectors, including Banking & Finance, Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate, Agro & Food, and many more from over 30 countries. It had over 250 exhibitors, a group of influential speakers, and over 10,000 visitors.

The LIBF Expo was officially inaugurated by A.S. Kiran Kumar, the former chairperson of ISRO, and Shri. Balvantsinh Rajput, the cabinet minister of industries, civil aviation, rural development, labor, and employment for the government of Gujarat. Other dignitaries in participation included Shri Jitendra Somani, a member of the legislative assembly from Gujarat State; Shri Mihir Kotecha, a member from Maharashtra State; H.E. Margaret L. Kyogire, Deputy High Commissioner & Acting Head of Mission, Uganda High Commission to India; H.E. Mrs. Rosette Mossi Nyamale, ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo; and Neemaben Aacharya, a member of the legislative assembly from Gujarat State's Anjar constituency.

LIBF Expo 2024 seeks to bring together Indian companies with exhibitors from more than 30 nations and 34 different industries. In accordance with the government's goal of achieving 7 to 8 per cent economic growth by 2025 and the vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas," the Expo's main focus is on mainstreaming rural women entrepreneurs in India. The initiative promotes women's empowerment and social development through the success stories of start-ups like Lijjat Papad, empowering over 45,000 women with investment opportunities. It promotes women's empowerment and social development, emphasizing the importance of unity and hard work in rural or limited-resource areas.

India is overcoming challenges like skill development, infrastructure gaps, rural development, and global uncertainties to achieve economic greatness, solidify its global market position, attract foreign investments, and create employment opportunities.
