JKEDI & The India Network Collaborate to Empower Women Entrepreneurs through 'Funding Ke Funde' Seminar

In a joint effort to support women startups and entrepreneurs in Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) and The India Network organized a virtual seminar called "Funding Ke Funde." The primary objective of the event was to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to raise funds successfully for their ventures while navigating legal and compliance challenges.
Under the leadership of LG Manoj Sinha and the guidance of Vikramjeet Singh (IPS), Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, the seminar brought together a distinguished lineup of industry experts and successful entrepreneurs to share their valuable insights and experiences. Esteemed speakers included Rahul Narvekar, CEO of The India Network; Hemani Bhagat, COO of The India Network; Dr. Ananta Singh Raguvanshi, a renowned motivational speaker and mentor; Amit Mishra, Co-Founder of Aalpha Consultants; and Dinesh Kr Singh, Co-Founder of Aalpha Consultants.
Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS), Director of JKEDI, reiterated the significance of such events and emphasized the importance of understanding legal and compliance requirements during the fundraising process. His valuable insights assisted participants in navigating the complex landscape associated with startup funding.
Rahul Narvekar, who is well renowned for his knowledge of the startup ecosystem, spoke to the audience about the many options for raising money. He offered insightful advice on obtaining funding, developing persuasive pitches, and developing strong investor connections based on his vast experience.
Hemani Bhagat's session focused on women-led startups, highlighting the importance of developing sustainable, environmentally friendly, scalable, and profitable businesses. Her insights provided aspiring women entrepreneurs with valuable strategies for success in the startup ecosystem.
Dr. Ananta Singh Raguvanshi, popularly known as the Tigress of real estate in India, shared her experiences in the industry and emphasized the increasing leadership roles women are taking in various fields, including startups. Her inspirational words encouraged participants to embrace their entrepreneurial aspirations with confidence and determination.
Aalpha Consultants' founders Amit Mishra and Dinesh K. Singh contributed their knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks to the event. They clarified the relevant legal considerations and offered tactical advice on budgeting and controlling investor expectations. Participants were able to produce thorough and convincing business plans thanks to their insights on financial predictions, valuation methods, and effective investor communication.
Numerous women-led companies and aspiring business owners from Jammu and Kashmir actively participated in the virtual event. Their passion and commitment to succeed in the startup environment were clear during the interactive workshops and question-and-answer sessions.
The event provided a venue for networking and teamwork, allowing attendees to get in touch with like-minded people, subject matter experts, and potential investors. It fostered an environment of empowerment and support, encouraging women entrepreneurs to pursue their business aspirations with confidence and resilience.
