Jacinta Allan Launches Australia-India Women's Leadership Forum

The Australian High Commission in Delhi hosted a special event to honor Premier Jacinta Allan, Premier of Victoria, to celebrate the significant contributions of women in the Australia-India economic relationship. The event highlighted women's leadership in trade, investment, technology, and education, as well as their increasing role in innovation, sustainability, and economic partnerships. It emphasized the commitment to advancing gender equality and inclusive economic growth.
Premier Jacinta discussed her aspiration for partnership between Australia and India and the work of Global Victoria in India at the event organized by the Australia-India Women's Leadership Forum (AIWLF). The forum was a collaboration between the Business Council of Australia (BCA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) which aimed to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
India's AIWLF Chair, Viji Murugesan initiated the event where Australian Chair Ravneet Pawha, VP (Global Engagement) & CEO (South Asia) at Deakin University and National Vice-Chair of Australia India Business Council interviewed Premier Jacinta Allan discussing Victoria's strategic engagement with India and promoting women's profile in the Australia-India business corridor.
Premier Allan praised the AIWLF platform for empowering women in Australian and Indian companies, highlighting the BCA's advocacy for policies benefiting the business community and CII International's role in connecting global stakeholders for bilateral growth.
