866 students from the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) class of 2024 at the Indian School of Business (ISB) campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali recently graduated. The graduated students comprised great talent in the ISB PGP 2024 graduating class. Of the total students, 49 per cent were from engineering backgrounds and 51 per cent were from non-engineering fields. The fact that women made up 40 per cent of the batch was a significant accomplishment. This indicates a trend in the right direction of implementing more gender diversity in business education.
A total of 1,206 job offers were made by 394 participating firms during the PGP placements. Numerous applicants received more than one offer, indicating the demand for ISB grads. Companies including IDFC First Bank, India Sotheby's, Blenheim Chalcot India, Stride Ventures, Target, WEH Venture Partners, PI Investment Advisors, and Tata Steel were among the more than seventy recruiters who were employed by ISB for the first time. Over half of the job offers were from the consultancy and technology sectors. Additionally, the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry made 10 per cent of all proposals. Additionally, 25 international offers were made to various sites across the globe. While firms like Nagarro, McKinsey, and Navi Technologies hired more than 20 students each, Accenture and Deloitte made triple-digit offers. Other companies, such as TVS Motor, Ola, BCG, Merilytics, and Nykka also offered in double digits.
