Indian Women's Fashion Brand Theater Secures Rs 12.5 Crore Funding

A popular women fashion brand Theater from Chandigarh has recently achieved a funding of around Rs 12. 5 crore in a pre-Series A funding round that happened last month. The new capital, which will be facilitated by the new venture capital firm Prath Ventures and integrated with the previous angel investors, will reshape the brand’s development strategy.
With this funding, Theater wants to increase offline store establishments, expand into other categories including quick commerce, and improve its logistics. The company’s long-term goal is to become the top mass-premium brand in fashion for the Indian market. They have a clear and ambitious long-term goal to become the top mass-premium fashion brand in India for the target audience.
Sarthak Aggarwal, Vikram Jain, Karan Jain, and Shruti Aggarwal started Theater in 2021 and within a short time, Theater has been scaling through the fashion industry selling various products through its direct to consumer website; the products include women’s shapewear, stockings, hats, perfumes, bags. Further, the product is available on some major multi-brand retail stores in India.
Further, the founder and CEO of Theater, Sarthak Aggarwal highlighted the organisation’s focus on the design-led disruption of the fashion industry in India. It will allow Theater to focus on new funding, to develop new pathways of growth and improvement of the design and, finally, production; this ultimate goal will reaffirm the company’s mission of providing elegantly classic and fabricated fashion and lifestyle related products.
