Indian Women's Badminton Team advances to Asian Games 2023 Quarterfinals

The Indian women's badminton team grabs a seat in the quarterfinals of the Asian Games team championships by defeating Mongolia 3-0 on Thursday.
P V Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medalist, won the first singles match by thrashing Myagmartseren Ganbaatar 21-3 21-3 in a match between two top-sided teams.
Ashmita Chaliha defeated Kherlen Darkhanbaatar in the second singles match with a score of 21-2 21-3, whereas Anupama Upadhyaya defeated Khulangoo Baatar in the third singles match with a commanding score of 21-0 21-2.
In the quarterfinals, India will compete against Thailand which will be a tough match as the team consists of former world champions Ratchanok Intanon, Pornpawee Chochuwong, ranked No. 12 in the world, and Supanida Katethong ranked No. 17 in the world.
P V Sindhu expressed her joy for the match and stated that if team India wins by a score of 3-0, they can qualify for the next round. At present, the women's team is stronger than ever to make a win. They also comprise strong doubles pairs.
