Indian Women defeats Bhutan at SAFF U-19 Women's Championship

The SAFF U-19 Women's Championship kickoff with the India U-19 Women's Team smashing Bhutan 10-0 in a dominating performance. On Friday, February 2, 2024, this thrilling match was held at the BSSSMK Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Pooja took center stage after scoring an impressive four goals. With a hat-trick in the first half, Sibani Devi also left her mark. Three more goals were added to India's total by Sulanjana Raul, Menaka Lourembam, and Arina Devi. By the halftime, the Young Tigresses were ahead 4-0.
India's fourth goal was the result of a great team effort, with captain Nitu Linda setting up Sibani Devi's third goal with a pass that split the defense.
