The 20th Asian Women's Handball Championship (AWHC) 2024 has kickstarted in New Delhi at the Indira Gandhi Arena, on December 3 and will conclude on December 10, 2024. Eight teams from two groups will compete in round-robin matches, semi-finals, and medal matches, The top four teams will qualify for the 2025 World Women's Handball Championship in Germany and the Netherlands. Group A consists, of South Korea, China, Kazakhstan, and Singapore whereas Group B includes India, Japan, Iran, and Hong Kong.
