Satynmag.com Sri Lanka’s leading women’s magazine in print since 1998 and entirely online since 2013, has announced a global partnership with one of India’s most vibrant women entrepreneurship ecosystems, Catalyst for Women Entrepreneurship (CWE).
The alliance will allow Sri Lankan women-owned firms access to regional markets while also allowing Indian and Sri Lankan women entrepreneurs to network and collaborate on mutually beneficial ventures.
CWE (Catalyst for Women Entrepreneurship) is a holistic ecosystem that helps women entrepreneurs launch and grow their enterprises. Finance, markets, trade networks, business skills, technology, knowledge, and industry mentors are all available through CWE's nurturing platform. Nayomini R Weerasooriya, Founder/Editor of www.satynmag.com and Mentor – Women Empowerment, said the alliance will help Sri Lankan women entrepreneurs, particularly those with specialised skills and unique goods, have more options. "There have been some fantastic breakthroughs pioneered by female entrepreneurs." We are confident that this relationship would assist them in gaining access to new markets."
The alliance, according to Sucharita Eashwar, Founder CWE India, Ambassador 50InTech, Co-Chair B20 Women Council G20 Summit, Advisor and Mentor to women entrepreneurs, will elevate cooperation between women-owned enterprises in both countries and the region to new heights. ” Women entrepreneurs will be able to enter new markets, source new opportunities and engage with other women entrepreneurs at a global level through this partnership” she added.
There will be coordinated endeavours to provide women entrepreneurs with specific entrepreneurial knowledge and business know-how. Delegations will also make visits to common business possibilities for women entrepreneurs from both nations. The deal also includes training and empowerment efforts aimed at expanding the spectrum of business opportunities for women-owned firms.
According to Nayomini, www.satynmag.com has always encouraged an active dialogue with women entrepreneurs, especially as they struggle to recover from Covid-19 complications; this includes www.satyneshop.com, an ecommerce platform developed exclusively for women-owned businesses, The SHE Initiative, which helps women entrepreneurs network, and the Satynmag Small Business Support and Expert Advice series, which provide knowledge and expertise in business building, marketing, and management.
Satynmag also established the Satynmag Beauty Awards for Women-Owned Beauty Businesses, which honours several unique beauty products introduced by female entrepreneurs.
Satynmag's women entrepreneur outreach includes mentorship and knowledge sharing advice for our female entrepreneurs, as well as cultivating a spirit of strength and courage to help them overcome obstacles and flourish.
“Satynmag.com and CWE will work together to empower women entrepreneurs of India and Sri Lanka to make use of new opportunities and view new areas of growth through the partnership.” Sucharita says in conclusion.
