India's Campaign for ICC U19 T20 Women's WC to begin in January 2025

India will begin their 2025 Women's ICC U19 T20 World Cup campaign against the West Indies from 18 January to 2 February 2025 in Malaysia. The tournament is crucial for emerging cricketers, with defending champions India's match against West Indies as a key opener, aiming to win the second consecutive time. India emerged victorious in the inaugural edition at South Africa defeating England.

Teams will play in a round-robin phase with three matches each at the group stage, with the top three from the four groups progressing to the Super Six stage. Additionally, the bottom-ranked teams will face the last-place play-off on January 24, 2025.
The Super Six stage involves 12 teams divided into two groups, with the top three teams from Groups A and D and those from Groups B and C, each contesting two fixtures against corresponding group opponents. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals on January 31, with the final on February 2, to be hosted at Bayuemas Oval. The reserve days for both semis and finals are February 1 and February 3, respectively.
