Women are essential figures in leading the country which also prioritizes entrepreneurship and STEM education, said Ruchira.
She further added that the Indian government's dedication to gender equality and women's emancipation is emphasized in the mandate of UN Women.
In order to empower women, Ruchira also asked UN Women to use more modern technologies such as information and communications technology (ICT).
