IIM Bangalore's Women Entrepreneurship Summit Commence on December 10-11; Plethora Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs

On December 10-11, NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore's incubation arm, will host the Women Entrepreneurship Summit for knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities for female entrepreneurs.
The two-day event will cover topics such as 'First-time Founder,' 'Making an Impact through Small-scale Women Entrepreneurship', 'Entrepreneurship as a Second Stint Post Motherhood’, 'Women in STEM’, 'Building a Brand,' and 'Raising Money a Family'.
The summit will be addressed by Rishikesha T. Krishnan, director of IIM Bangalore, Sonjoy Chatterjee, chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs India, and Suresh Bhagavatula, professor of IIM Bangalore and academic director of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women at NSRCEL.
NSRCEL's COO, Anand Sri Ganesh, stated, “India is seeing a revolution in its entrepreneurial ecosystem with digitisation, start-ups and most importantly the unparalleled success of women entrepreneurs. The event will include speakers, discussions, and networking opportunities. The mission will be to develop ways to build an ecosystem that promotes the growth of women entrepreneur.
Key persons are Naga Prakasam, partner, Acumen Fund & Resident Mentor, NSRCEL; Vinita Bali, former managing director of Britannia Industries Limited; Nirmala Shankaran, founder, HeyMath!; Srivardhini Jha, associate professor, IIM Bangalore; Vineeta Singh, CEO, Sugar Cosmetics; Daymond John, founder, FUBU and Star of Shark Tank; Aditi Gupta, managing partner, Menstrupedia; Rekha Sharma, chairperson of the National Commission for Women in India; Asha Motwani, founder, Motwani Jadeja Foundation; Suresh Bhagavatula, professor, IIM Bangalore, and academic director, Goldman Sachs; Kalpana Gopalan, additional chief secretary, labour and Janaspandana, public grievances are among others
There will also be a fireside talk with Vasanthi Srinivasan, professor at IIM Bangalore, and Sheeba Sen, co-founder at Hasten, on 'Entrepreneurship post Motherhood,' as well as specialised networking sessions.
NSRCEL has taken important steps to help women entrepreneurs identify and develop new business possibilities, as well as build and grow profitable businesses.
