The IIMV Foundation for Incubation, Entrepreneurial Learning and Development (IIMV FIELD) has fostered 60 firms in the last four years, 46 of which are led by women entrepreneurs from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) at IIM-Bangalore (IIM-B) has teamed with IIMV FIELD to foster women entrepreneurship in the region through the 'Women Startup Programme.' In the last four years, the institute has taught two cohorts of female entrepreneurs in several fields. The institute is currently accepting applications for the third batch, which will begin soon.

The IIMV-FIELD educated and mentored 25 women businesses in the first class in 2018, and there were roughly 20 women in the most recent cohort.

In 2020, the institute produced a book titled "Women Who Venture – Inspired and Empowered by IIM Visakhapatnam" to document the journeys of the first batch of 25 women entrepreneurs fostered at the institute.
