HDFC Mutual Fund has launched 'SIP Saheli - A Masterclass', a new investor education initiative aimed at empowering women by enhancing their financial literacy. The program focuses on women's unique financial needs and challenges, offering a supportive environment for learning about financial planning, investments, and wealth creation. It covers aspects of saving, investing in mutual funds, and understanding Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs).
The 'SIP Saheli' is an online campaign that will be run from 15 August to 30 September 2024. It aims to educate women about mutual funds, their benefits, inflation, compounding, and informed investment decisions. A certificate of completion and guidebook will be provided post-masterclass. The masterclass will be free of charge, and specifically designed for women.
Mr. Navneet Munot, MD & CEO of HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd. mentions, "HDFC Mutual Fund proudly announces the launch of 'SIP Saheli', a program dedicated to fostering financial independence among women. This initiative aims to cultivate lasting financial literacy amongst women and aligns with our vision to be the most respected asset manager in the world. By empowering women with comprehensive knowledge about mutual funds and SIPs, we aim to enable them to make informed investment decisions, ultimately helping them achieve their financial goals."
