The Google "Startups Accelerator: Women Founders" program's second iteration has been launched to assist Indian women entrepreneurs who are using technology to overcome formidable obstacles and positively impact society. The three-month programme provides organisations in a range of industries with networking, mentoring, and training opportunities, including but not limited to e-commerce, healthcare, education, and finance.
According to Paul Ravindranath G, the programme "includes specific modules to support women entrepreneurs in areas like seeking mentorship and advice, hiring talent, and tapping networks for help, to build confidence where cultural conditioning can sometimes create self-doubt."
Applications are being accepted for the second round of the programme through June 4. Additionally, Google employees and mentors from outside networks will offer support to the selected participants in the areas of technology, product strategy, people, growth, and funding.
Another aspect of the training is access to Google's extensive worldwide network of financial backers, business giants, and advisors. Among the graduates of the initial batch were startups developing a range of cutting-edge solutions. These included websites that let rural artisans sell their wares online, AI-driven medical diagnostic tools, and many others.
According to Ravindranath, the programme is an excellent opportunity for female entrepreneurs to get support and guidance as they navigate the challenges of expanding their businesses.
