Google India is seeking 'women coders' to participate in the Girl Hackathon 2022. Women studying computer science and related fields can register in teams of three on the Girls Hackathon's official website — buildyourfuture.withgoogle.com.

The programme is open to all female undergraduate and postgraduate students studying computer science and/or associated circuit fields. This programme will be available from March 19, 2022 until April 30, 2022.

Registration can only be done in groups, and a 'team leader' must be declared at the time of registration.

Two groups will participate in this programme. Bachelors, Masters, and Integrated Dual Degrees, as well as comparable degrees in computer science and associated areas, will be in Group A for graduates in 2024 and 2025. Bachelors, Masters, and Integrated Dual Degrees, as well as related degrees in computer science and associated areas, are in Group B for graduates in 2022 and 2023.

Participants must also come from the same campus. Student teams with members from different campuses will be allowed only if random selection is chosen, and the decision will be made by the Google team based on the situation.

All competitors will be expected to participate in the Google Online Challenge in round one, which will be a coding challenge in which individuals will be assessed online in the areas of code and riddles. On March 19th, 2022, the GOC will be held. On March 24, 2022, the GOC results will be announced, as well as the groups that will advance to the next round.

Phase two is the design document round, which comprises of a tech subject/challenge (this year's theme is "Future of Learning") that necessitates creative solutions. If you make it past the GOC phase, you'll be given a design document sample with the theme. Make a copy of the document and use it to construct your pitch. On March 24, 2022, the document will be made public. The deadline for design document submissions is April 7, 2022, and the results, along with a guideline for the final hackathon round, will be released on April 13, 2022.

The final round will be virtual hackathon where teams will present their final solutions to a panel of judges. Teams will need to share a working demo/prototype and code repository on April 22, and the final round will take place on April 27, 2022. Final results will be announced on April 27, 2022.
