The best Indian stars, who have performed well on the regional Tour, have benefited greatly from the domestic Hero Women's Pro Golf Tour in India.
Four of its players will get the opportunity to compete in the Simone Asia Pacific Cup, which in its debut year will have a prize pool of up to US$ 750,000.
The Simone Asia Pacific Cup's inaugural edition in Jakarta, Indonesia, has invited two Indian teams of two players apiece. From August 15 to August 20, 2022, the event will take place. The Asia Golf Leaders Forum will oversee the event's conduct (AGLF).
A total prize pool of $750,000 will be awarded during the competition, with 500,000 dollars going to the individual event and 250,000 dollars to the team event.
The competition will consist of 54 holes played over three days. When India was initially given one team, its two biggest talents, Aditi Ashok and Tvesa Malik, were also invited. However, according to the Women's Golf Association of India, they expressed their regrets. Diksha Dagar and Gaurika Bishnoi took their seats.
Then, WGAI made a compelling argument for the addition of a second Team made up of players from their Hero Order of Merit. The request was granted, and the top two candidates for the 2020–21 combined Order of Merit, Amandeep Drall and Vani Kapoor, were selected.
The readiness of all four players has been communicated. In addition to earning starts in South Africa and Australia, they have all been regulars on the WPGT and the Ladies European Tour. Champika Sayal will serve as Team Principal-Co-Captain.
