A study conducted by Forex Suggest shows that nearly one in ten women in India own cryptocurrency, which ranks third among other countries in the world.
According to the data from this foreign exchange education platform, there were 63 million female cryptocurrency owners in India or 9.2 per cent of the country's 685 million female residents.
The first place holder of female-owned cryptocurrency is Vietnam with 24 per cent female population whereas the Philippines secures the second position with 9.6 per cent accounting for nearly 5.5 million female cryptocurrency owners.
There are also disparities in some of the places that own crypto. With 47 per cent female cryptocurrency owners, Vietnam had the most evenly distributed male and female crypto owners.
