FedEx Express & UWM offer Saksham Kits to 120 Female Entrepreneurs

In partnership with the United Way Mumbai (UWM), FedEx Express distributed Saksham kits to 120 women entrepreneurs from lower-income groups to help them scale their businesses. Established in 2021, it is one of the world's largest express transportation companies that has bolstered its commitment to gender diversity and economic empowerment through the 'Saksham' initiative.
FedEx's initiatives have significantly boosted the income of 62 per cent of women small business owners from 2021 to 2023, demonstrating its commitment to gender diversity and economic empowerment. Despite resource limitations, Saksham provides tool kits to skilled women small business owners, enhancing product quality, production efficiency, and customer reach across various sectors. UWM is a non-profit organization that works with over 500+ non-profits and corporations to identify and implement impactful solutions to community problems.
