Females have a higher life expectancy, as confirmed by Eurostat. They hold longevity record in Europe which is also applied to all regions of EU. The European females occupy 83.3 years in the year 2022 as compared to 77.9 years for men, same year.
Having 3 provinces, Spain’s absolute land of longevity that topped the highest life expectancy list for women. The leader between the 3 provinces is the province capital, Madrid which has an expectancy rate of 87.7 years that is closely followed by Navarre and Castile and Leon communities.
Moreover, the highest life expectancy is recorded in Madrid only in Men i.e., 82.4 years with comparison to 81 for other 2 province leaders, standing as the “longest-lived” EU region. However, the Lichtenstein which is one of the European Economic Area states, records the highest figure for men, included in research while coming at 83 years. Contrastingly, for female longevity, the worst data has been recorded for female longevity counts 76.4 years where in comparison Mayotte Archipelago records the lowest, being a French department. This particular report shows that the health of women seems better than men in Europe. Under the provinces of EU, the stats exemplify a good life expectancy of women.
