Ethnic Wear Brand Koskii raises INR 61 crores in a Series A Funding

Koskii, a women's occasion wear company with headquarters in Bengaluru, has raised 61 crores in a Series A funding round that was managed by Baring Private Equity Partners India.

The money that has been raised will be invested in its unique tech platform, its team, and its offline store footprint. It will also be used to improve its online websites. Koskii, which has already its stores located in cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad, mentioned in a release that it wants to expand into new cities while also acquiring ground in current markets.

From more than 10,000 pin codes across the nation, according to the clothing company have received orders. The company is also looking forward to investing in chances for international growth.

According to Umar Akhter, the co-founder and CEO of Koskii, with this investment made by the fund, the company and its networks will grow eventually which will also help to enhance the online presence as well as become a global brand for ethnic wear for women.

Across 5 funds more than 90 business firms that are engaged in consumer, technology, manufacturing, BFSI, and pharmaceutical/healthcare sectors have received investments worth 4,000 crores from Baring PE India.
