Establishment of Smart Co-Op Society and Women Empowerment discussed by ULCCS's Chief and MD of Amul

The Cooperative Congress sponsored a number of educational events where several companies participated and pitched their fresh concepts. As ULCCS's Chief Project Coordinator Kishore TK described how to create a smart co-op society on the latest knowledge, Amul's Managing Director Jayen Mehta emphasized that co-operatives could be used to address gender inequality.
ULCCS's Chief Project Coordinator Kishore TK addressed the session titled "Innovation & Technology for Cooperative Governance" during the 17th Indian Cooperative Congress and stressed the value of encouraging creativity, accountability, and responsibility in the cooperative sector.
Kishore TK is also on the Board of the National Labour Cooperative Federation of India. He further stated that the growth rate and contributions of the cooperative towards the GDP of India are comparatively less due to the delay in accepting the latest techniques. It should accept smart technologies to focus on real-time business visibility.
He further added that adopting new technology is a difficult task but for the growth and development of the organization appropriate technology needs to be accepted. He also emphasized the preparation for Industry 5.0, which envisions an extremely intelligent society.
Managing Director of Amul, Jayen Mehta stated that cooperation can end gender inequality while speaking at a session on "Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion through Cooperative" at the 17th Indian Cooperative Congress.
He mentioned the organization promoting gender equality and empowering women in society. Amul pays women Rs 20,000 crore annually for milk prices directly into their bank accounts.
During the event, many other delegates were present and gave their viewpoints. The Chairperson of Sewa Gujarat, Mirai Chatterjee emphasized on "Women Cooperative Enterprise Development Fund" and the proactive integration of women cooperatives into all brand-new programs, including cooperative universities and export cooperatives.
Another delegate, Dr Neelam Patel stressed the importance of strengthening initiatives like this Model Cooperative Village, which takes a household-oriented approach to ensure that each household has access to opportunities for a better living as well as the capacity of SHG.
Dileepbhai Sanghani, the president of the NCUI as well as other representatives from the Ministry of Cooperation attended the session, which was held on the second day of the 17th Indian Cooperative Congress at Pragati Maidan on Sunday.
