Eastern Command Dominates 2nd Inter Command Women's Aquatic Competition 2023

The 2nd Inter Command Women’s Aquatic Competition 2023, organized by South Bengal Frontier (BSF), concluded successfully on September 14, 2023, under the patronage of Sonali Mishra, IPS, Additional Director General of BSF (Eastern Command). This two-day event showcased the talents of female swimmers from 11 BSF frontiers, with the primary goal of unearthing new talent and identifying women athletes capable of representing the force at national and international levels.
In a stunning display of aquatic prowess, the Eastern Command emerged as the dominant force in the competition, securing the overall championship trophy. Their remarkable performance earned them a total of 09 Gold and 09 Silver medals, making them the undisputed champions of the event. The standout athlete of the competition was undoubtedly Sushmita Chaudhary, a constable hailing from the Eastern Command. Her exceptional skills and dedication in the pool earned her the title of the best swimmer, a well-deserved recognition of her talent and hard work.
Sonali Mishra, IPS, Additional Director General, expressed her immense pride and joy at the remarkable achievements of the participating athletes. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to all the competitors for their outstanding performances.
