Dr. Vanisha Dhaka Chopra, from Haryana, India, was recently named Mrs Asia Pacific in a grandiose ceremony hosted by Dazzles Events. Dr. Vanisha is a pathologist by trade, and she entered the pageantry realm in 2019-2020 with the goal of raising awareness about mental health. Her husband is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Army.
She has been recognised and honoured for her efforts in society on several occasions. She was also named Visionara Global Charity 2019 and is currently working alongside Hyder Ali and Namrata Rayat, an IIM graduate and Director, at the Tricity, Chandigarh-based Empowering Hands Foundation. Along with senior consultant and mentor, Dr. Vaibhav Mane, she has also contributed through her many research activities, particularly on breast cancer awareness.
She considers herself an empath with roots and wings. She credited her accomplishment to all the women who, while facing daily challenges from society, continued to support one another. She remarked that winning the worldwide contest gave her the largest platform to express herself effectively and globally.
She is grateful to Tabassum Haq, Chief Executive Officer, and Parisa Communication Pvt. Limited, which organises pageants domestically and globally to promote women's empowerment. After a lengthy delay due to the pandemic, Dazzle AsiaR 2022 has arrived in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Sri Lanka, with the goal of attracting participants from all around Asia despite COVID-19 travel limitations.
