Committed to Women-led Development in India: PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi visited Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib on Sunday due to his election campaigns where he expressed his commitment to empowering women's power and his focus on women-led development. He has highlighted the importance of women's roles beyond traditional roles and implemented initiatives like "Drone Didi" in villages, Army recruitment, Air Force pilot recruitment, and border guarding. PM Modi believes women's economic empowerment drives growth, education access drives global progress, and leadership fosters inclusivity.
He mentioned, "Empowerment of women remains my commitment. I took the lead on women-led development even during the G20 Summit, and we have to keep on creating opportunities for that. Women have a major role to play, much beyond the traditional ones that they perform." PM Modi further highlighted the government's initiatives to empower women placing 'Nari Shakti' at the forefront with a women-led development approach. He emphasized women's power, 'Amrit Stambh' role in developing India during the election campaign, bowed down to Padma awardee Purnamasi Jani, and saluted Nari Shakti's strength, courage, and resilience.
Additionally, at the G20 Ministerial Conference on Women Empowerment, he stated, "When women prosper, the world prospers. India is making strides in empowering women through a women-led development approach, which fosters economic empowerment, education access, inclusivity, and positive change."
