BRMGM College & IQAC cell Conduct Seminar on Indian Women

A two-day national seminar on the theme of "Achievements of Indian Women: with reference to Villages, Youth Environment, Defense, and Economy" was sponsored by the ICSS and organized by the Central Library of Bir Raghab Moran Government Model (BRMGM) college, Doomdooma, in partnership with the IQAC cell.
Dr. Amorjit Saikia, the principal, gave the seminar's welcome address. He talked about how women should play a range of roles in different spheres of life and the inaugural speech was given by Circle Officer Doomdooma Revenue Circle, Rananmay Bharadwaj.
Dr. Bhupen Chutia, the principal of Sadiya College, and Dr. Kamaleswar Kalita, the principal of Doomdooma College, mentioned that what is the importance of women in society and highlighted their achievements in a range of fields. In his brief remarks, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, a professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Gauhati University, talked about the achievements and contributions made by women in a variety of fields, including science and a range of other professions like piloting. In addition to these, NEHU Department of Library and Information Science Professor Akhandanand Shukla shared his thoughts on the importance of women. Whether they play sports, are involved in politics, serve in the military, are from rural areas, or are anything else, women make important contributions to almost every aspect of life.
Associate Professor Madhumita Purkayasta of DHSK College delivered a keynote address on women's status and initiatives, while BRMGM College held its maiden national seminar, attracting over 120 attendees from India. The college's Principal, coordinators, faculty members, and staff completed a seminar attended by eminent professors and researchers from northeast India. The event concluded with a valedictory session and Md. Akhtar Hussain's vote of thanks.
