British Council announces Fellowships for Women in STEM Fields

Women STEM scholars from India and other South Asian nations are eligible for 26 scholarships and fellowships, which are given on the basis of merit and have no country-specific cap.
The third cohort of scholarships for women in STEM has been announced by the British Council, a UK organisation that promotes educational opportunities and cross-cultural understanding.
Women STEM scholars from India and other South Asian nations are eligible for 26 scholarships and fellowships, which are given on the basis of merit and have no country-specific cap. Coventry University, University of Bath, University of Manchester, University of Southampton, Imperial College London, and University of Edinburgh are six of the UK's higher education institutions that offer these.
The scholarship will pay for tuition, stipend, travel expenses, visa fees, health insurance premiums, special support for mothers, and English language assistance for selected Indian scholars who choose to pursue a master's degree or an Early Academic Fellowship at a UK university.
By actively participating in the alumni network, the scholarships will also give them a long-lasting platform to connect with the UK and motivate the subsequent generation of female STEM professionals.
