According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is our collective responsibility to highlight women's power in the nation as national power during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On Thursday, he opened the Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital in Dharampur, Valsad, Gujarat.
Speaking to the audience, the prime minister predicted that hospital projects will be extremely beneficial to women and other underprivileged groups in society.
The establishment of Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, a 250-bed multispecialty hospital with cutting-edge medical infrastructure that will offer top-notch tertiary medical facilities, in particular to the people of the Southern Gujarat region, is being funded by the union government at a cost of about Rs. 200 crores.
“The central government is trying to remove every obstacle that is being faced by the sisters and daughters, which prevents them from progressing. The health policy that India is following today concerns the health of every living being around us. India is running a nationwide vaccination campaign not just for humans but also for animals," said Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister also dedicated the Shrimad Rajchandra Center of Excellence for Women and Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Hospital, among other mission-related projects.
The government estimates that it will cost Rs. 40 crores to construct the Shrimad Rajchandra Center of Excellence for Women. It will include rest places, recreational amenities, and classrooms for self-development classes. More than 700 tribal women will be employed by it, and thousands more will eventually be able to support themselves.
At a very young age, Shrimad spoke passionately about women's emancipation. The prime minister stated that it is up to us all to highlight women's power in the nation as national power during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
While the mission's animal hospital will have 150 beds and be constructed for about Rs. 70 crores. It will have first-rate facilities, a committed group of veterinarians, and support staff. The hospital will offer conventional and holistic medical services for the care and maintenance of animals.
He claimed that the new hospital strengthens the mission's dedication to serving the underprivileged. Everyone will have access to high-quality, affordable healthcare thanks to this hospital and its research centre.
“This is going to give strength to the vision of a healthy India in the ‘Amrit Kaal’. This also strengthens the spirit of Sabka Prayas (everyone’s efforts) in the field of healthcare", he said.
In the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the country is remembering its children who worked to free India from slavery, the prime minister reaffirmed.
According to the prime minister, individuals like them who have dedicated their life to the advancement of women, tribal people, and underprivileged groups maintain the nation's consciousness.
