The BLR DriveHER Program is a newly launched initiative announced by BLR, a leading integrated logistics company. In order to address the critical issues of the lack of truck drivers in India, this program has been specifically created that will support job diversity, and provide women with several opportunities to earn more money.
Five exceptional women truck drivers have joined BLR's fleet through the DriveHER Program, making a significant achievement for the initiative at this initial stage. These individuals have completed an intensive 8-day driving-focused training course, giving them the knowledge and guidance they need to operate the vehicle.
BLR emphasizes the value of teamwork in extending the DriveHER Program's reach and inviting its clients to take part in this project. The Managing Director of BLR Logistiks stated that together the team can remove barriers and pave the way for a more diverse and inclusive trucking industry by empowering more women to pursue their professional and personal goals.
Women will receive equal opportunities, a welcoming workplace, and increased earning potential, as mentioned by Director of BLR Logistiks, Abhishek Goyal. BLR is confident enough that this newly launched initiative DriveHER Program will keep having a greater impact on the lives of women.
